Monday Morning Madness

Good Monday Morning!!

Yep, its a monday alright. When I woke up this morning I felt so refreshed and enjoyed being able to lay there a few minutes knowing Dallas had already let the dogs out. Its nice to sleep in a little bit on my days off. And by sleeping in, I mean 7am :) Tomorrow starts my 3day stretch of work for the week, those days begin at 4am and then I pull back into the drive at almost 8pm and do it all over again, and again. But those 15 hour days make having 4 days off oh so worth it! Usually on my days off I get up around 7 and fix Dallas something for breakfast, then I see him off to work. I'll fix myself a cup of coffee and some breakfast, turn on the Today show and snuggle with the dogs for a little while and then start my day! Today, as soon as Dallas left I had just fixed my cup of coffee when Dallas called to let me know the Sears man would be here to fix our washer. You see, our washer has been on crack since we moved. I'm sure it has nothing to do with being in the back of a horse trailer for 800+ miles! Lately, when I do a load of laundry, when the spin cycle comes on our washing machine sounds like its about to blast off into outter space. I could deal with a rocketship in our laundry room... until one day I went into the laundry room to put the clothes in the dryer and found myself standing in a puddle slough of water. (And I'm sure that happend on a Monday too! ) The guy came this morning to make our washer like new again after they had already mailed us all the parts... He took it all apart and put it back together again, ran a cycle on it, and blast off! It was headed back to the moon. Turns out our motor is going bad, it wasnt the bearing, or the tub, or the seal, or whatever else they mailed us. So after waiting a month and a half, three more weeks to wait without doing laundry is no big thing right. Happy Monday!  While the Sears man was here Meeka and Bella swore he was a robber and barked like crazy the whole time. I stepped into one of our spare bedrooms to regain my sanity when I saw Shy (Dallas's dog) outside digging up against the house. I went out to see what in the world she was doing to find she was burring something. She ran off as soon as she saw me. I walked over to her gold mine to find the wing of what appeared to be our of our chickens... Yep, definately Monday. So now she's back in pen without roaming privledges until this evening when the chickens come in so I can count them to find out if shy had breakfast or not.
Now, I'm going to attempt to drink my coffee and eat my breakfast :)
