Long Time No See!

Well... Once again, I'm terrible at this bloggin thing! Haha! One reason I'm so horrible at it, is, for some reason, our computer hates uploading pictures to my blog! It takes like 30 min just to upload some photos! And I dread that! Well, I guess I'm just going to live without putting pictures on here!!!

Decemeber was my last blog post and a lot has changed since then!!

Kasen is now 14 Weeks old and he is growing like a weed!!! He'll be 4 months old on March the 7th. He'll get his second set of shots and be weighed and measured! I'm anxious to see how he's grown. At his 8 week appointment he got his 1st set of shots and he did really good! He only cried for a minute! It was hard on me though because the kid literally never cries! He's such a good baby! So when he does cry, it breaks my heart!!! At 8 weeks he weighed 14 pounds and 11 ounces, and was 25.5 inches long! Growing Boy!!

My little Monster has grown since then! I weighed him at my grandpas vet clinic about a week ago and he was about 16 pounds! I'm not sure on his length.. but I know hes growing! This kid is now in 6-9 month clothes!! His feet and hands are huge so I imagine he's going to be a big boy!

Kasen is an absolute JOY! About a week before he was born I started getting nervous. I wondered, what in the world am I going to do with a BABY! Well folks, now I wonder what in the world I did without him. He's the biggest blessing I could ever ask for! I absolutely love being a mother. Theres no better feeling then seeing Kasen's face light up and watching him get that big mouth open smile when he sees his Momma :)

He is such a good baby. He's been sleeping through the night some nights. He gets a bath at about 9:30 every night, and he LOVES his bath. He's stay in there til he turned into a prune if I'd let him! Then he gets a good lotion rub down, gets his ears and nose cleaned out, gets fed, and is ready for bed! I put him in bed awake and he goes right to sleep on his own. He never fusses at bedtime! We are SOOOO BLESSED! He sometimes sleeps from about 10pm-8am, but sometimes he still wakes up for a 4am feeding. But he's not crying or fussing when he wakes up. I just hear him awake and grunting and cooing so I just get him up and feed him! Then he'll go back to sleep and sleep til about 8 or 9.

Kasen loves to play and "talk"! He's cooing and laughing all the time lately. He loves for you to talk to him and he loves to kick! He rolled over for the first time from belly to back the other day and has done it twice since then! When you lay him on his belly he tries to push himself with his feet. He can scoot pretty far like that too! He's wanting to be mobile!!!

My first day back to work was Jan 29th. Boy, was that hard! I cried all the way to work, and I have an hour drive there!! Once I got there I was okay... We were super busy so it made it a little easier. I only called twice to check on him! And I was soooooo glad to see him when I got home!

I decided to just go back to work one night a week. I'm gone from 5pm-8am when I work so its A LONG TIME to be gone from my sweet baby! So right now, one night a week is plenty!!! I'm so blessed Dallas is supportive of this! He works extra hard so most days I can just be Kasen's Momma! And thats the best "job" I've ever had :)
